We would love for you to join us. Use code WCWeek when you purchase tickets here and save $10 off general admission or VIP tickets, which include gifts and a chance to win one of our raffle prizes. Tune in for the sessions you like, watch the ones you miss afterward. You are also welcome to join us for one day free, just let us know which one, and we can provide a code.

We hope to see you at an in-person fair soon, but until then, we are excited to gather online during Wedding Crashers Week!

Creative Weddings during COVID – Saturday, September 12, 2020

Location 215 presents Creative Weddings during COVID: AN EXHIBITION OF INSPIRATION AND INNOVATION FOR CELEBRATING THE CREATIVE COUPLE

Creative Weddings during COVID is a social distance, speed dating themed exhibition featuring the work of a curated group of all female led businesses to showcase the art of creativity and how we can celebrate today’s couples through safe, unique, and elevated experiences.

Created by Jen Blauvelt, Owner of Location 215 and Michelle Mazer, Vice President of Eventsful, Inc., the concept came from a desire to support other female owned businesses during a time when the event industry was forced to reimagine as a result of the pandemic.

On Saturday, September 12th from 12:00pm -5:00pm, we will unite over fifteen female thought leaders in Philadelphia to exhibit the innovative and creative ways they have adapted their business for micro gatherings and social distanced events.

Guests will be inspired at multiple vignettes at Location 215, The Viaduct and at Love City Brewing Company in The Spring Arts District of Philadelphia, including clever strategies designed to showcase how we can celebrate safely, without sacrificing fun or beauty, and re-imagine the way we experience events.

Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Temperature checks upon entry, masks, social distancing and all necessary COVID-19 CDC city and state precautions will be required to participate in the event for guests and vendors.

Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will be donated to the Women Against Abuse COVID 19 Fund (@womenagaistabuse):

Contract & Policy Improvements since COVID-19

As you can imagine, before March of 2020, cancellations were extremely rare, and rescheduling was unheard of.

Since many couples were and continue to be affected by the situation, we have taken the opportunity to make improvements and clarifications to our paperwork and procedures, so that we can all have peace of mind going forward.

RESERVATION/PAYMENT POLICY: A low-commitment Reservation Fee, calculated at 30% of the minimum charge, is required to secure the date. The Performance Fee is due in two installments 60 days and 30 days before the Event, each with a 7-day grace period.

POST-CONTRACT CHANGES: You may contract for the Basic Package now, and add hours, speakers or other services up to 45 days before the event. The cost difference will be reflected the subsequent installments.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If we cancel, you will be entitled to a refund. If you cancel or reschedule for any reason, our contract clearly outlines the conditions under which refunds of the Performance Fee are possible.

RESCHEDULING POLICY: Weddings are our main business. Whether you book 2 months or 2 years in advance, we are promising you a certain DJ on a certain day for a certain price – it is valuable real estate.

If you must change your event date for any reason, we will do our best to accommodate. You would cancel the previous agreement and we would start fresh with a new cost estimate. If the same DJ is not available on the new date, we will present the options, and all refundable amounts may be applied to the future booking.

Tainted Love 80s Dance Party w/DJ Jane Elizabeth – 2/21/2020

Soft Cell’s pioneering 1981 cover of the Northern Soul classic, “Tainted Love,” is the inspiration for this awesome 80s dance party. Building on a solid foundation of New Wave, we’ll dig deeper into the catalog of massive hits and overlooked misses from the late 70s through the early 90s – pivotal years in musical history that blurred the lines between Analog and Digital, Disco and Synthpop, Funk and Hip-Hop. A time when Alternative was called Post-Punk, Indie actually meant independent, and Throbbing Gristle’s “Hot on the Heels of Love” surely could have been alongside Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” on the charts…with today’s perspective. Other passions include CBGB-era New York, Batcave-era London – Punk Rock, Glam Rock, Kraut Rock, Girl Rock, Dad Rock, Rockabilly, Ska, Machine Soul, Blue-Eyed Soul, Darkwave, Coldwave – plus some guilty pleasures in the (strictly) Old-School Rap department.

Hosted by DJ Jane Elizabeth (Stylus DJ Entertainment, Breakfast Club Philly 2010-2015).
