We wanted someone who was fun, warm, queer-inclusive, and open to collaborating with the unique vision we had for our wedding- and Jen was all that and more!
Our day started with two drag queens performing live alongside Jen’s music, and ended with two drummers playing throughout the crowd- and Jen managed it all flawlessly! She kept the energy flowing, the transitions seamless, and the vibe absolutely perfect from start to finish.
Beyond her incredible talent behind the booth, Jen was so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our day as special as possible. She even helped us choose our ceremony songs, including the walk down the aisle music, and took care to make sure everything felt personal and true to us. By the end of the night, it truly felt like Jen was part of our family, cheering us on and celebrating right alongside us.

DJ Jen was an absolute dream to work with and truly made our wedding!
From the ceremony to the last dance, she nailed every single moment with style, professionalism, and the most incredible energy. We had a mix of music tastes–R&B and pop from the 2000s to today on my end, and oldies and timeless classics from my partner–and Jen blended it all perfectly. It never felt disjointed; the entire night flowed seamlessly with songs that had everyone on the dance floor, from our young niece and nephew to my 94 year old grandma and all friends in between! Beyond the music, Jen was a total pro with the timeline and logistics. She kept everything running smoothly–whether it was coordinating the ceremony music (our friend sang live) to perfectly timing key moments. We felt supported and totally at ease all night, which let us really soak in every second (as it flew by in a blur). Guests haven’t stopped talking about how great the music and energy were, and we couldn’t agree more. DJ Jen is not only incredibly talented, but also warm, detail-oriented, and so much fun. DJ Jen is absolutely incredible! This beautiful, kind and talented woman deejayed my wedding, and I couldn’t have been more happy. It wasn’t an easy event. Jen had a total of three different deejaying locations she had to rotate to, and she had to deal with an hour long delay due to a late vendor – which she handled flawlessly. She also knew exactly how to make the crowd stay engaged and have fun, and her transitions were to die for. She never missed a beat, literally. I cannot recommend her more. Stylus gave us a great vibe when we came across them in our search and we were excited about supporting a female DJ company! They were so easy to work with throughout the entire process. As we got closer to our date there was a miscommunication with our venue about sound system availability and Jane was so helpful and flexible in working with us to adjust our package to include the necessary speakers and equipment. “Hiring DJ Jen and Stylus was possibly the best decision we made in planning our wedding. She played the best wedding music we have ever heard.
We could not find a DJ who vibed with us in the Ithaca, NY area, so we contacted Stylus to see if one of their DJs was willing to travel. DJ Jen was eager to do so!
In planning, we gave Jen a list of songs and vibe that we liked and she played exactly what we wanted and used excellent judgment to keep people dancing. We are a gay couple and wanted a welcoming 80s gay club vibe throughout the night; we got exactly exactly what we wanted.
We got married at an outdoor reception venue during a hot day. We were worried that the heat would keep people from dancing but the whole dance floor was absolutely packed for the whole evening. People ranted and raved about how good DJ Jen’s music was (both during and after the wedding).
DJ Jen was so helpful throughout and managed MC’ing (in a nicely reserved, laidback way), dealing with a break between setup and start of music, and even a little rain that got on her equipment. The process of getting a quote and signing the contract was super easy and everyone with Stylus was quick to respond. We met with DJ Jen through Zoom; she was lovely and very informative. She walked us through the timeline and listened to all of our needs. We were worried about how late we had waited to book a DJ, but Jen eased our concerns and we left the meeting feeling so much better. We had a particular song that we wanted to walk down the aisle to, but different pieces of the song. Jen worked her DJ magic and cut up the song and seamlessly looped it so that if one of us walking too slow, the music didn’t cut off. She even attended our rehearsal so that we could walk through it.
