“Amber Lynn Ensign at Stylus DJ did a fantastic job handling the music for us at our wedding, from ceremony to reception. At the reception she showed a great awareness of the mood of the room, and knew when to shift back and forth between getting people up to dance and letting people enjoy their dinner and conversation. She also included lots of our favorite tunes that we had sent beforehand, and showed good judgement about what we might like based on that list and some discussion about our tastes.

“We cannot recommend Stylus DJ Entertainment and DJ Amber Lynn more highly. Our wedding was planned for October 2020 but had to be postponed twice due to COVID. In late 2019, we were assigned to DJ Amber Lynn, and we could not have been happier with her. We finally had our celebration in October 2022, and Stylus and DJ Amber Lynn were extraordinarily adaptable and supportive throughout the multi-year delay and final month of planning.
DJ Amber Lynn knows her music, and she puts in an extraordinary effort to ensure that the music matches the couple and the ambiance they’re seeking to a tee. Throughout our planning, she asked thorough questions to fully understand our musical tastes, our goals for each part of our wedding and reception, and had us complete forms that articulated our likes, dislikes, must-plays, do-not-plays, etc. With that information, DJ Amber Lynn masterfully curated the music for our entire day, from pre-ceremony welcome music to the very last dance.
We have eclectic tastes, from ’60s garage, to girl groups, to ’80s pop, to punk classics, free jazz, and obscure soul. She managed to weave together our disparate musical preferences in a cohesive, coherent way that never felt forced or awkward — her transitions were perfect! Moreover, she has impeccable timing and room read, knowing exactly when our guests were ready for more relaxation or active partying.
DJ Amber Lynn (and the whole team at Stylus) was warm, friendly, and responsive to our requests. She played a huge role in our wedding, as both DJ and emcee, and we are so grateful we made the right DJ choice with Stylus and Amber Lynn. Her DJing was so good, we’ve received multiple requests for our wedding playlist, which she very kindly shared.
