“We used Stylus DJ Entertainment for our October 2021 wedding at Arrow Park and it was exactly what we wanted! From the beginning of our DJ search, we were clear we wanted to work with someone who was more low-key (not fist-pumping, cheesy, clubby hype men – no offense to them, but it’s just not us lol). We were so happy to find Stylus DJ Entertainment who was a predominantly female-run business (which we loved, and most of our vendors were also!) and marketed themselves as exactly the type of vibes we were looking for.
Working with DJ Alicia was great – through early Zoom sessions for intros, shared Google Sheets during the planning, and at the wedding! It was easy working with her to incorporate some songs from our cultures and allowing us control in customizing our song selections. At the wedding, she was a one-woman show working our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in 3 different areas of our venue and everything was seamless. The music, vibes, and everything was perfect! Alicia was very accommodating with our adjustments and changes during reception with the timeline. “We had DJ Amber Lynn for our wedding on 5/12/18. We were looking for a DJ that wouldn’t just play the ‘typical’ wedding music you always hear, and she was perfect fit. Amber Lynn started a Google doc for us to share songs we wanted to hear, which made it easy to communicate. She played a great mix of music which tied in what we wanted to hear, with fun upbeat music to keep everyone dancing. Would totally recommend to anyone, particularly couples looking for a more offbeat playlist for their wedding!
