“Stylus, and our DJ Amber Lynn, were the perfect fit for our wedding. My husband and I are huge music lovers with very specific tastes, and we wanted our wedding to be a big, fun dance party. Once we found the female-owned Stylus, we knew they could make our party happen! (Amber DJed new wave/Bowie dance nights in Philly; our cat is named Bowie . . . it was a natural fit.) Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Amber was able to set up a microphone and speaker for our officiant and for reception speeches, play all our favorites and accommodate requests during cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and then give us our final playlist so we could relive everything. “We had Amber for our wedding in September at Camp Dark Water- she perfectly understood my desire to not be in the spotlight too much and to NOT have a corny stereotypical DJ, blended my husband’s and my tastes in music beautifully, and kept the dance floor moving so well that even my special needs brother danced for most of the night. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’ve never seen him dance before, so this was incredibly special. “I’ve been to a lot of weddings where the DJ won’t play music on the “must play list” or just plays bad dancing music (or even one that yelled at the bride and groom for talking to guests too much), but Amber from Stylus was awesome. She played all the music we requested and made a great playlist that fit our eclectic tastes. People had an awesome time dancing (and were even on the dance floor when the cake was being served), and guests of all ages enjoyed the music. “Highly recommend working with Stylus DJ. Was originally drawn to look at Stylus as I was looking for a company that wasn’t going to deliver the typical canned/loud/scripted wedding DJ experience – bonus on the female owned company! After reviewing the various DJ profiles on the website we found a perfect fit for what we were looking for in DJ Amber Lynn. She was PERFECT. Really appreciated the transparency, communication style, and ease of working with Jane and then Amber in prep for our wedding. Amber was great in navigating the 3 locations we needed music at during our zoo wedding and kept things fun for us and safe for all the animals. Best of all, she made sure to save playing my “favorite” songs for when I was in the room as we had to escape periodically for photos and she was great about grabbing a few non traditional songs we wanted from our favorite TV show to play – including a last song just for the two of us at the end of the night.
