Karin is incredibly genuine and kind, making the planning process smooth and stress-free with just one introductory call and one final call. She offered insightful advice based on the experiences of other couples and their music choices. We needed a DJ to help us create a playlist from our favorite songs that would resonate with a diverse age group, from toddlers to seniors, and she exceeded our expectations. Even on a hot summer day in NJ, the dance floor was packed, and we received numerous compliments from guests of all ages on how much they enjoyed the music. “Working with Stylus and DJ Mariko could not have been better! We used them for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Mariko absolutely KILLED it. From the first zoom call we had with her, we could tell she was thoughtful, organized, and meticulous about her work. She has an amazing knowledge of music and immediately picked up on the vibes we wanted for our wedding and added such a strong spirit to the whole night. Overall, we wanted a DJ that wasn’t flashy, showy, or overly hyped up. Mariko was so chill the whole time, she just had her laptop and speakers. We didn’t want much emceeing, and she still brought the PARTY at the reception. I don’t know how she does it but she reads the room so well and it made for the best time.
